MountainFilm

Each year, a selection of films from the annual festival in Telluride, Colorado is taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise would not have a chance to experience the festival. The films selected for the show explore themes connected to MountainFilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world!

The Main Event

This two-day outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter. The films selected for the show explore themes connected to MountainFilm’s mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments, and promoting adventure.

Not Just Films

As the event continues to grow – MountainFilm On Tour at WaterColor has grown into a weekend of activities. Attendees have the opportunity to attend special sessions, called “Coffee Talk” with filmmakers or stars of the films. Embracing the theme of adventure and the outdoors, WaterColor Inn & Resort regularly hosts Eco – Tours on Saturday morning of MountainFilm weekend – celebrating the unique natural surroundings of the area.

Celebrating Community

MountainFilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the MountainFilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. The tour has visited WaterColor Marina Park since 2000 – and is the longest running MountainFilm on Tour event.
