Hurricane Michael Updates

Below are photos of many of our assets taken after Hurricane Michael. The majority of St. Joe’s Club & Resorts, residential and commercial portfolio of properties located in Walton County and Bay Counties received minimal damage from Hurricane Michael. Most Club & Resort properties in Bay & Walton County have already resumed operations. Both of the marina properties, Bay Point Marina and Port St Joe Marina suffered significant loss and will require longer term restoration efforts. “St. Joe intends to accelerate development efforts of projects previously planned to commence at a future date.  The acceleration of these projects will ensure that local businesses that were not as fortunate and now need a place for their operations, will have a place to call home, said Jorge Gonzalez, The St Joe Company President.”

To support the region following the effects of Michael, the St. Joe Foundation has donated $1 million to relief efforts.  In addition, St. Joe and its team is also lending volunteer support, providing staging areas for first responders, as well as providing temporary and longer term office space solutions.
