The Amenities at Wild Heron

Residents at the Wild Heron community have access to Lake Powell, one of the largest of the rare coastal dune lakes in the region. The community has a boathouse stocked with canoes and kayaks for exploring the pristine waters, which run all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. For golf lovers, the centerpiece of the community is the award-winning Shark’s Tooth Golf Course and Club, located alongside the lake and designed by one of the world’s best golfers, Greg Norman. Residents also have access to a pool with a children’s area and a hot tub, a community fire pit and a health and fitness club.

BoatHouse

Residents of the Wild Heron community have access to a boathouse located on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in Northwest Florida. The boathouse is stocked with kayaks and canoes so residents can explore the beauty of the lake, which runs all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.

Community Pool

On hot days, residents can cool off with a refreshing dip in the community of Wild Heron’s pool. The pool is specially designed to include shade corridors and a variety of private alcoves that offer the feeling of being “alone in a crowd.” Wild Heron’s pool area also features a children’s pool and a hot tub.

Fire Pit

Residents of the Wild Heron community have access to a fire pit located on the shore of Lake Powell. The fire pit includes seating for up to 20 people.  It’s perfect for cuddling up on colder nights or getting together with family and friends to share stories and roast marshmallows.

Health Club

The Wild Heron community is home to the state-of-the-art fitness center with treadmills, bikes, stair climbers, dumbbells and Nautilus machines so residents can stay healthy and in shape. The health club also includes access to full locker rooms

Shark's Tooth Golf Club

Shark’s Tooth Golf Club is the centerpiece of the Wild Heron community. Greg Norman, once ranked the world’s best golfer, designed the over-1,200-yard course, which runs along the lake’s shores, through pine forests and over streams and estuaries. Golf Digest named Shark's Tooth one of the top 100 public courses in the country. (Purchase of a home does not automatically include access to the golf club.) The Shark's Tooth Clubhouse features a bar and grill, large dining room, a restaurant, locker rooms, and Har-Tru HydroCourt tennis courts
