About Wild Heron

Wild Heron is located on Lake Powell, on the border of Northwest Florida 's Walton and Bay counties. This 734-acre coastal sanctuary will be home to fewer than 600 homes, developed by a portfolio of builders. World-class amenities include the Greg Norman–designed Shark's Tooth Golf Club, a lakeside grill, swimming pool, fitness center and boardwalk, and an oak-filled park and natural area. Well stocked with kayaks and canoes, the BoatHouse at Prospect Point, located on Lake Powell, is available for residents’ use. A series of walkways conveniently links everything.

Wild Heron's architectural style, coastal Craftsman, is clear in each residence and community structure. Introduced by Foley Design Associates Architects Inc., the coastal Craftsman style complements the natural landscape surrounding it, using time-tested finishes like slate, river rock, split stone, glass, wood and metal. Inspired by the environmental sensitivity of the arts and crafts movement, the coastal Craftsman style has restrained color schemes and soft-patina coppers that achieve the standard of excellence sought by Wild Heron.

The Reserve at Wild Heron, the last of the home sites in this low-density coastal community, is a neighborhood with heavily wooded pristine land rich with ancient oaks, with a private entrance and magnificent views of Shark's Tooth Golf Course and serene Lake Powell. Reserve lots come with outstanding views, some overlooking the 13th, 14th and 15th holes of the prestigious Greg Norman–designed golf course. The topography at the Reserve at Wild Heron boasts the oldest trees on the property and the area had always been envisioned as a unique enclave beside the lake. It is called a reserve because it evokes the very essence of privacy, spectacular views and a remote hideaway ambiance.
