When it came to building their first custom home, SouthWood residents Mike and Paula Watkins knew they didn't have to look far to find the ideal place to build their dream home.
Along with their daughter, Miranda, who is a fifth grade student at Florida High, the Watkins Family is very active in the SouthWood community. Since moving to SouthWood in 2003, the Watkins Family have developed great relationships with many of their fellow SouthWood homeowners. Mike is an active member of the SouthWood Golf Club, Miranda is having a great time at Florida High, and the entire family loves the great events SouthWood's Art of Living puts on for the community.
With the gorgeous backdrop of the San Martin custom home neighborhood combined with all that SouthWood has to offer, choosing San Martin as the place to build their first custom home was an easy decision for the Watkins Family.
"We love how secluded San Martin is," states Paula Watkins. "It's tucked away in SouthWood, but yet, it is only a short distance from all the great amenities in SouthWood."
When asked what their favorite feature of their new custom home will be, Mike, Paula, and Miranda, all were in agreement that it will be both the pool they're going to have as well as the gorgeous backyard view of the SouthWood Golf Course greens and a beautiful lake.
