Paradise Comes to SouthWood

The white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast may lie less than an hour's drive from Tallahassee, but on Saturday, February 10, 2007, the beach magically moved inland to SouthWood and became the perfect site for a spirited afternoon street party, "Living in Paradise."  With truckloads of sand covering the bricks of Town Center and brightly colored balloons and windsocks fluttering in the breeze, SouthWood was transformed into Key West, complete with live musical entertainment from the Landshark Band and interactive performances by stilt walkers, jugglers and balloon artists reminiscent of the sunset entertainment along Mallory Square.
