JOE is developing a new Southern town nestled along the banks of the picturesque St. Johns River in northwest St. Johns County.

RiverTown is just south of the vibrant city of Jacksonville and approximately 20 miles from the beaches of Northeast Florida.

Comprised of 4,170 acres, RiverTown will reflect JOE’s commitment to creating truly authentic towns that harmoniously blend community together with the unspoiled beauty of natural surroundings.

Equipped with all the modern amenities and conveniences you’ve come to expect from JOE, RiverTown will have an old fashioned sensibility that hearkens back to a simpler time. Centering the neighborhood on the banks of St. Johns River, a scenic riverfront park will be adjacent to a town center with quaint shops, restaurants and abundant space for offices, residential units, retail outlets and civic activities. RiverTown will have an abundance of outdoor amenities such as hundreds of acres of parks, playing fields, nature trails, public gardens and a farmers’ market that will beckon residents to engage with the natural beauty of the landscape – and each other.

Inspired by the classic heritage and timeless grace of small Southern towns, RiverTown is being created to become a beautiful, relaxing haven where you can connect with family and friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

A diverse hometown enveloped with an abundance of water, woods and open fields, RiverTown will be composed of unique neighborhoods bound together by multi-purpose paths and trails, and sharing a powerful natural theme—life on the St. Johns River.

The Main Street District will blend intown living with a small-town feel. This charming, vibrant, live-work-play mix of multi-family and single-family homes, shops, restaurants, offices, parks and civic amenities will be steps away from the river. Beyond the center of town, blocks of endearing homes are woven together by friendly streetscapes.

The Garden District will delight residents with its panoramic beauty, imaginative gardens and stunning natural areas-many overlooking ravines. At the community garden, RiverTown residents can grow and harvest their own fruits and vegetables.  Beautifully situated on manicured grounds, the SummerHouse will be a hub of leisure-time activity and is planned to offer a fitness facility, two pools, tennis courts and expansive lawns for sociable games such as badminton, croquet and bocce ball.

The Bungalow District - Gracious Arts-and-Crafts-style homes will line streets that are fringed by live oaks and lead to riverside pocket parks.

The Lakes District - Folks who love fishing, sailing and paddling can enjoy lakefront residences and a community LakeHouse.

The Farms District - These rural estates will range along fence-lined country lanes, pastures, lakes and pine forests.

The Cove District - Private lanes will lead to secluded estate homes along the pristine Hallowes Cove shoreline.

The Trails District - Trail homes will be nestled in woodsy conservation areas laced by plentiful trails and boardwalks.
