Mike Joyner Vice President – Environmental Affairs The St. Joe Company |
Mike joined The St. Joe Company in October of 2006 and is responsible for coordinating environmental initiatives and strategy. He works with JOE employees to promote a culture and ethic of conservation and environmental integrity and coordinates JOE partnerships with federal, state and local agencies, environmental organizations and others.
Mike is a former Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection serving Secretaries David Struhs and Colleen Castille. He has also coordinated federal and state governmental affairs for the Florida Farm Bureau, Florida Forestry Association and Progress Energy.
Joyner has served on the Board of the Florida Natural Resource Leadership Institute at the University of Florida, is a former Governing Board member of the Northwest Florida Water Management District and serves on the advisory committee to the Food and Resource Economics Department at the University of Florida.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida in 1986. He resides in Tallahassee with his wife and two daughters.
