Fishing License
Unless you are going out on a chartered fishing boat, the state of Florida requires a fishing license. Fishing licenses are sold at the County Tax Collector's Office and many bait-and-tackle shops. Single-day and annual licenses are available. Licenses can also be obtained online at www.wildlifelicense.com.

Kayaking and Canoeing
The Forgotten Coast offers outstanding opportunities to explore the area by kayak and canoe. The local state and national parks offer various paddling trail systems along the many local rivers, or you can kayak off the beach at SummerCamp Beach. If you would like to paddle right off our beach, you can rent a kayak or canoe from the SummerCamp Beach Kayak Shack. Or, for a guided tour, please contact one of the guides mentioned below.

SummerCamp Beach Club
Kayaks and canoes are available for rent at the SummerCamp Beach Club. Call or visit the Sales and Information Center at (850) 402-5200 for rental information. Paddle inshore on a self-guided tour along the beaches and marshes watching for shore birds and tailing redfish.
