ST. JOE OFFERS WATERCOLOR SUMMERSWEET PLACE BUYERS MULTIPLE WEEK-LONG STAYS WHILE HOMES ARE BUILT
SummerSweet Place represents one of the last residential offerings in the acclaimed WaterColor resort community
Santa Rosa Beach, FL (July 21st, 2008) – The St. Joe Company announced today a new “Summersweet Living” promotion at Summersweet Place, WaterColor’s newest residential neighborhood. The new incentive lets buyers enjoy multiple stays, up to seven nights at a time (with reservation), for a nominal fee in a furnished WaterColor vacation cottage until December 31, 2010.
“While waiting for their dream vacation home to be built, buyers now can have numerous WaterColor vacation experiences well beforehand,” says Cliff Cohen, Director of Sales at WaterColor.
Summersweet Place is a collection of 98 home sites, each spanning a bit less than a ¼ acre planned around central open spaces and priced from the low $100,000 range. The neighborhood represents one of the last residential offerings in the acclaimed WaterColor resort community in Northwest Florida. New cottage-style homes and home sites are also available in WaterColor’s Turtle Ridge neighborhood, with access to WaterColor resort amenities as well as new parks, paths and a uniquely designed swimming pool.
Nestled in the secondary dune woods north of Scenic Highway 30-A and east of Highway 395, buyers at Summersweet Place will have access to all community amenities, including the Gulf-front BeachClub with pool deck, the Lakefront BoatHouse, the BikeBarn, WaterColor Tennis Center, Camp WaterColor, Camp Creek Golf Club, and the property’s fitness center, spa, restaurants and Town Center neighborhood shops.
As a master planned community, WaterColor revives the time-tested rules of building traditional Southern vernacular structures in the context of a small town along the water. The town plan evokes a time when towns were built with care and neighborhoods had stores, restaurants, offices and parks all within walking distance of home. Homes line pedestrian-friendly streets, deep front porches invite residents to sit, relax and visit with passers-by, while parks, greenways, biking and hiking trails motivate homeowners to get out and enjoy the neighborhood.
