Restaurants within WaterColor include Fish Out of Water. The AAA Four Diamond ranked restaurant celebrates Southern art and nature with a fire-and-ice theme, which is anchored by an exhibition grill kitchen and an ice bar bearing fresh seafood. An easy eight-mile drive from WaterColor is Camp Creek Golf Club designed by Tom Fazio, an 18-hole, par-72 championship course measuring 7,151 yards and named "Course of the Millennium" by Travel + Leisure. Camp Creek's five-tee configuration, which also includes gold (senior) and red (women's) tees, accommodates players at all skill and experience levels. It has also been designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System for its environmental stewardship. Fazio himself has been recognized three times by Golf Digest as the best modern-day golf course architect.

The InnSpa at WaterColor Inn offers a totally indulgent experience designed to nourish the body inside and out. The spa's personalized treatments have been thoughtfully created to convey a sense of comfort, nurturing, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Building upon the larger regional and national interest in the Ogden Museum of Southern Art/University of New Orleans, the Ogden opened a satellite museum in the heart of WaterColor. The museum is opened seasonally and will reopen in mid-March.
