To help maintain the long-term value of the community and its aesthetics, SouthWood provides a Pattern Book, which outlines home building guidelines as well as an Architectural Review Board, which reviews all home and related improvement plans. The SouthWood Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions state that as part of the design review process, contractors must be approved by The St. Joe Company.  To be on the list of contractors registered to build in the SouthWood community, the contractor must meet the criteria listed in “What You Should Know When Building a Home in SouthWood Using an Outside Builder.”
