Aurella McCue Loves The SouthWood Lifestyle

Aurella McCue knew going into this past Mother's Day she was going to have a memorable day celebrating this special time with her daughter, Mary, who is also a SouthWood resident. What she didn't know was that 24 hours later, she would be the proud owner of Beazer Homes' Evelyn model home, which was a participant in the 2009 Parade of Homes.

"I toured the home with my daughter during this year's Parade of Homes and 24 hours later, I signed my contract. It was so much more affordable than I had anticipated," says the retired teacher of 35 years. McCue fell in love with the house almost immediately as she points out the homes' beautiful wooden-style floors and openness the home offers.

"I have been living in an apartment complex over a year in SouthWood and I was looking to buy in this community so I could be closer to my daughter and grandchildren, so the timing and price were right for me," McCue explains.

As far as the SouthWood community itself, McCue knew immediately she would love living here after experiencing the busy lifestyle of Central and South Florida. "This place is so wonderful. The surroundings really stand out. I love taking walks on all the scenic trails this community offers. When I'm not in the mood to walk, all I have to do is walk across the street and sit down in the bench of our gorgeous neighborhood park and soak in this beautiful scenery. It's unlike any other place I've ever lived."
