In the decade ahead, JOE will make a significant contribution to protecting the Panama City crayfish by voluntarily entering into an agreement to conserve almost 2,000 acres of habitat.

Moving Beyond Green

Over the past decade, JOE has emerged as one of Florida's leading conservationists. In addition to helping permanently protect more than 170,000 acres and promoting species protection and enhancement, JOE has raised the bar for developers in Florida by frequently exceeding environmental protection standards set by regulators.

In the decade ahead, JOE intends to lead by example: standardizing best environmental practices, preserving and restoring critical habitat, making plans to protect entire watersheds, and protecting Northwest Florida's heritage and quality of life.
