The WaterSound Beach Club hosted an evening of healthy gourmet cuisine prepared by five of the area's best chefs: WaterSound Beach Club's own Chef Bryan Ross, Café 30A Chef Ken Duenas, Alys Beach Resort Caliza Pool Chef Oliver Guapin, WaterColor Resort Chef Wayne Alcaide, Shark's Tooth Chef Jim Hallett and Fire Chef Carl Schaubhut. 

The chefs used "heart-healthy" ingredients to prepare wholesome, delicious dishes. Wine pairings accompanied the food. In addition to sampling the chefs' creations, guests bid in a silent art auction and entered a drawing to win a weekend vacation at the WaterColor Inn and Resort, have dinner at local restaurants and other prizes. The evening wound down with live music and dancing under the stars.

Both the Heart Healthy Extravaganza and Move Your Feet to the Beathelped support the Sacred Heart Foundation's capital campaign to raise $5 million for heart and vascular services at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast in Walton County, Florida. The campaign's aim is to provide expanded access to life-saving services at the hospital, meeting a critical need in the community, as heart disease remains the number-one killer of Americans nationwide. The foundation has raised nearly $4.6 million to date.
