ArtMiles Mural Project

Sunday, March 8, 2009

WaterColor is proud to host "Sea Turtle Sunday" as part of The Art Miles Mural Project. Please join us in Cerulean Park as we host 20 murals from around the globe as well as contribute to the project with our very own sea turtle mural. Representatives from our local Turtle Watch group will be on hand to pass out information as well as other county representatives that will provide information on eco-friendly materials we can all use to protect our sea turtles! Everyone is invited to enjoy live music & painting as they contribute to this great global project!

The Art Miles Mural Project is a passionate and colorful 12 year movement combining the efforts of children and adults worldwide to promote global peace and harmony through mural art. Each hand in every mural aims to create and express a global voice to develop and advocate art rather than violence, cooperation instead of war, and the continuation of life rather than death. Mile by mile, across countries, borders and oceans, the Art Miles has become the resonating symbol for peace.

You can be a part of the Art Miles Mural Project February 28 through March 10, 2009 at various locations along 30A including: Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, WaterSound West Beach, Seaside and WaterColor.
